Background: a person’s background could be their personal history, their career or cultural identity.
Relatively obscure: this is a term used to describe something that is not well known or particularly important.
Engage in: a very formal, almost legal term that means ‘doing’ or ‘involved in.’
Chant – what football fans do instead of singing.
Allegiance – loyalty or belonging.

The strange cutting sound is a sound effect we had to add when Jordan started to answer questions for 5 minutes without stopping. These answers can be heard in the forthcoming series – hooligan bares all.
